FROSTY MORNING WINTER JAYS, 15.5” x 23.5”, 1993
The Bluejay is one of our best known birds. They are as aggressive and bold as they are beautiful. They are also extremely inquisitive and noisy. Here, in a frosty white tipped pine, a pair of jays hops about the branches overhead. The raucous chattering of these rogues breaks the silence and stillness of a cold, pre-dawn morning.
