Along with my family we have done our share of canoeing in the lakes of northern Ontario. One of the best feelings in the world is heading out at daybreak when the water is still and air is calm and silent. This painting depicts a couple of canoers taking it all in on a misty morning on a Muskoka lake. That is me in the back doing all of the paddling.
